The Bomb Proe dab rigs has a round glass top with a mouthpiece on the top side. However, the company offers a cone-shaped version (as an accessory) that looks like the Puffco Peak’s version. You can choose to buy it separately or take advantage of the offer to buy two atomizers and get the glass for free.
The round glass top contributes to a height of 5 ½ inches. If you use the cone-shaped borosilicate one, it’s definitely taller, almost the same as the Puffco Peak. The two electric dabberresemble each other in shape. The difference here lies in the coloring and the body material.
Bomb Pro has a metal alloy protecting the electronic part with a teal color. They also offer white and black versions. Puffco Peak also has a range of colors from white to black, with a few options in between. Their body is, however, made of hardened silicone, making it lighter.
They both have a rubberized base that provides the right grip while sitting on a flat surface. Bomb Pro e dab rigs adds an LED screen to display the temperature and battery level. There is also a multi-purpose button for powering the device on and off and controlling it.
The Atomizer
Bomb Pro manufacturers build their atomizers using silicone. The advantage of this is that you will not feel the heat while holding it. For Puffco, they have used the material on the body. Bomb Pro has an 18mm ceramic atomizer with 360-degree inner wall heating ability.
By just looking, you can tell that it’s wider than what Puffco offers on the same. They go ahead and add a joystick carb cap (or a rotatable one), which enhances the burning of the wax as you inhale.
In Puffco, the silicone extends to the atomizer, which has a rotating carb cap.
Weight
By measuring the base units alone, the Bomb Pro is definitely heavier than the Puffco. Bomb Pro weighs 220 grams, while Puffco weighs only 176 grams. It all depends on what makes the components at the base.
In Puffco Peak, you have everything you need and nothing you don’t. So, it’s made to suffice in its simple task – to provide optimal heating for the wax. In Bomb Pro, you have all the luxuries in one package. That goes from the multipurpose button to what supports the LED display technology.
Performance
You get 30 sessions per charge in the Puffco Peak. In Bomb Pro, there are 35 sessions on a single charge. The temperature settings in Puffco Peak give you four options. They are indicated using the blue, green, red, and white colors.
In Bomb Pro, the temperature range is between 200oF and 700oF. You can adjust the temperature one degree at a time by first clicking the button three times to enter the temperature settings. After that, you can the e dab rigs adjust by clicking the button once or long-pressing it for a continuous increase.
With Bomb Proe dab rigs, you have different glass options, although the smaller one is still heavier. In Puffco, you only get the tall one, but its cross-engineered design makes it comfortable to use.
While that’s the case, the glass in Puffco gets stained more often compared to the Bomb Pro. Why? Because the glass airhole in Puffco Peak is smaller (316thof an inch) than what you get in the Bomb (38thof an inch). So, be ready for more cleaning in Puffco.
That should also tell you that the airflow in the Bomb Pro is much better. It’s not that bad in Puffco; it’s just that you will feel it quite measured if you are using both to inhale. At lower temperatures, the Puffco will give you light inhales with an appropriate mix of flavor.
At higher temperatures, closer to the top, you get more clouds and a decent flavor, but the smoke will be harsh on you. You may opt to add more water to the glass to counter that, though.
With the Bomb Pro, the LED display shows the temperature numbers, as opposed to color indicators in Puffco. Once you set the temperature, wait for three seconds or as the LED indicates. Lights glow in the glass chamber to keep things lively, especially if you are dabbing at night or in the dark.
At lower temperatures, there is more flavor, while big temperatures deliver the clouds. We noted that the Bomb Pro does not cause harshness in your throat at high temperatures.
The operation of both is similar: It takes five clicks to power them on and five clicks to power them off.
Bomb Pro vs. Puffco Peak: Which One Is the Best?
