Fallout 76 Map 2024 With Locations
The following interactive Fallout 76 map includes all discoverable locations in Appalachia.
Fallout 76 is set in Appalachia, a fictional representation of the region closely resembling real-world West Virginia. The in-game map is divided into seven regions, each filled with numerous locations to discover. These regions are The Forest, Toxic Valley, Ash Heap, Savage Divide, The Mire, Cranberry Bog, and Skyline Valley. The seventh region Skyline Valley was newly added in June 2024.
Fallout 76 Map Expansion
Skyline Valley is the first map expansion since the Fo76 launch. The new region is located in the far south. It is based on the real-world Shenandoah region including locations inspired by real life such as the Presidential cabins at Rapidan Camp.
The map expansion is part of the Fallout 76: Skyline Valley update. The update also includes a new main questline and two new Public Events in Skyline Valley.
Fallout 76 Map Regions
In Fallout 76, Appalachia is divided into the following 7 regions:
- The Forest: the starting zone, where Vault 76 is located.
- Toxic Valley: north of The Forest.
- Ash Heap: the dusty area south of The Forest.
- Savage Divide: right in the middle. This zone divides the 3 western zones from the harder zones in the east.
- The Mire: the swampy area northeast.
- Cranberry Bog: the southeast area of the map.
- Skyline Valley: the area south of Savage Divide.
Before the Fallout 76 Update “One Wasteland For All” (released in September 2020) the zones had fixed enemy level ranges. The Forest, as the starter zone, had enemies ranging from 1 to 10. Toxic Valley had enemies ranging from level 10 to 25 and so on. You can check the old ranges here: Fo76 level map.
Since “One Wasteland For All” the enemy levels scale with player levels. On the western side (The Forst, Toxic Valley, and The Mire) enemies can not be above level 50. On the eastern side (Savage Divide, Ash Heap, Cranberry Bog) the max level of enemies is 100.
